The Hollywood star shared a clip of himself (provided by Stereogum) from one of Metallica’s two concerts in Los Angeles over the weekend, held at the SoFi Stadium on August 25 and August 27. These performances were part of Metallica’s “No Repeat Weekend” event, during which the band presented two entirely distinct setlists on consecutive nights at the same venue.
In the video, Momoa is seen exclaiming, “These ****ers opened with ‘Whiplash’!”, and later, he joins the moshpit during the Sunday show, capturing the vibrant atmosphere of the Metallica concert.

To make up for it, Momoa arranged a video call so that his friend could meet Metallica remotely, expressing his gratitude for making it possible and highlighting Metallica’s contribution to Maui through the All Within My Hands Foundation.
